In My Wardrobe: Rock ‘N Karma Comic Girl Dress

Buying Canadian brands is a no-brainer – it helps stimulate the local economy, helps small businesses grow, and we’re just so spoiled for choice with some incredible brands who are offering some very cool and high-quality pieces.

I spotted this awesome dress a little while back on the Rock ‘N Karma Instagram and fell in love. I kept going back to it, so when they posted it again on their Instagram, I just knew I had to add it to my wardrobe.

The Hue Dress Comic Girl comes in sizes XS to 1X and retails for $225 and is even better in person – the comic girl images are covered in beads and sequins, which you can see in the image below.

From their site:

This comic book style, lurid-hued dress is inspired by vivacious pop-art paintings. This in-your-face t-shirt dress features a crew neck, short sleeves and boxy fit, styled with an edge of lace bottom. Pair it with your favourite pop of colour pumps and handbag and let your outfit do all the talking.

Oh, and it has POCKETS! Which gives me another excuse to post one of my favourite Baroness Von Sketch clips:

Because what woman doesn’t love a dress that much more when it has pockets!?
