Jsquared² Public Relations: Paid PR Intern Opening

Jsquared² Public Relations is seeking a PR Intern who will work closely with the company’s Principal and clients.

Major components of this position include: assisting with event coordination and production, updating media lists and drafting press releases and media advisories. The PR Intern will also assist with media outreach and will be given the opportunity to assist with the overall execution of PR strategies for clients.

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of basic public relations skills (including media relations and event planning), an ability to interact professionally with clients as well as sound judgement. In addition, he or she will be highly organized, efficient and detail/deadline oriented. Other qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications. Candidates currently enrolled in or recent graduates from a college or university PR program are preferred.

This is a paid internship and operates on a three or four month term with a minimum commitment of 20 hours/week. The internship is available immediately. To apply, contact Jumol Royes at jumol@jsquared2pr.com.
