Contemporary Pop-Up Shop

The Fashion Designers Guild (FDG) has brought together a group of Canadian design talent together with their high-end pop-up boutique in Toronto’s upscale Eglinton/Avenue area for ten days only.

Get Dressed- Temporary Contemporary is an intimate showcase of Canadian fashion diversity. The boutique provides a range of apparel for both men and women and a range of jewelry and accessories highlighting quality products from top Toronto designers. Goods are in season, all available for immediate purchase, with a range of sizes available. Get Dressed-Temporary Contemporary provides a rare opportunity to meet the talent behind the labels with many designers attending the event in person.

Ten days of Canadian designer style, from Thursday June 10th –Sunday June 20th 2010

Boutique hours: Monday -Thursday 12.00-7.00, Friday 12.00-8.00, Saturday-Sunday 11.00-6.00

Fashion Designer’s Guild (FDG) is a group of fashion designers (Michelle Turpin, Katya Revenko, Carrie Hayes and Zoran Dobric), who collaborate to champion Canadian fashion to buyers, consumers and news media. With a focus on this mandate FDG presents Get Dressed- Temporary Contemporary. FDG events are designer driven – organized by Canadian Fashion Designers for the benefit of other Canadian Fashion Designers.

With all projects the FDG strives to:

  • Demonstrate Canadian fashion to buyers as a viable, sellable product.
  • Promote the Canadian fashion brand as innovative and of world-class quality
  • Educate the public on Canadian fashion, introduce clients to new designers and provide off the runway looks for immediate purchase.
  • Offer an independent designer perspective
  • Provide a support network for designers
