The Wizard of Oz: Evan Biddell

Yesterday, I popped by Oz Studios – fashion designer Evan Biddell and photographer Joseph Fuda’s boutique gallery at 134 Ossington Avenue. It was a bussling place for a Sunday afternoon with a few (yet-to-be-named) of his models there for fittings for his show for Toronto’s Alternative Arts & Fashion Week show, Refined on Thursday, April 22nd at 9:00pm.

Evan’s studio partner and man with camera is usually on hand to snap some shots of the visitors to the boutique, which are posted on their blog.  Totally a must-visit site!

My favourite was this cute video featuring 90210’s Shenae Grimes: “She stole 2 Biddells” the video states – did she? Watch the video to find out.

If you find yourself on the Ossington strip, it’s a must visit to see both his Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 collections, possibly meet the designer in person – and of course, it’s available for purchase too! (Who knows, maybe you might be the next star on the blog!) OZ is open Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm and Saturdays, 11am to 7pm. For more information, call 416.792.5511, or email info@ozstudios.ca.
