Returning for her fourth year at [FAT], DiNoble’s inspiration “L’amour est un Oiseau Rebelle” (“Love is a Rebellious Bird”) from Bizet’s opera, Carmen ties in with this year’s theme for [FAT]; MADE WITH LOVE. As with past showings, Starkers Corsetry always likes to bring something a little different to the runway, this year is no expectation with an unexpected live introduction and local industry guest models.
Starkers is available for order online internationally and by appointment in her private Toronto-based studio. Her newly designed website coming in June 2010 will give customers an easy to navigate online shopping experience with personalised corset selection.
