Socially Springing at Buy Design

Of all the events that happen throughout the year, Buy Design for Windfall is my absolute favourite! (All you have to do is say is “dress up theme party” and I am there!)

This year, on Saturday, April 10 at 8:00pm, the Buy Design team (who include a lot of fabulous people in the fashion industry) is taking us back to the dirty thirties post-depression era where the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto’s Distillery District will be transformed to feature a mess hall auction, croquet and badminton lawns, and a swinging dance hall tent.

With a generous flow of themed drinks like sidecars, sours and planters punch, let’s just hope that the dart throwing “Balloon Buster” game doesn’t cause any casualties…

Tickets are $75 each or 6 for $375, to order online click here or call 416-703-8435. Get them while you can – this one is sure to sell out! (The amazing gift bags are worth the price alone, nevermind supporting a great cause.)

If you’re unsure of what to expect, check out last year’s photos from the space-themed Buy Design on the main page which grossed almost $100,000! (You may spy a few familiar faces, including me in there!)

Hope to see you at the bake sale table!
